ABOUT MARAVILLA
The only banknote from Maravilla is a 100 gold grain note. It is no longer available.
It is thought Maravilla was a leased Indian Ocean island. It seems there was or still is a Portuguese company by the name of Maravilla.
We know nothing more about the company or island, the purpose of the lease or if, indeed, the 100 gold grain note was indeed valued at 100 grains of gold.
Only a few of these notes have ever been found.
