Denominations range from 1/4th to 50 Lind. A Lind or Lime, named for a miniature lime tree islanders grew indoors to fend off scurvy, was considered quite valuable to ships on long voyages. The going price was 30 for a Silver United States Dollar and up to 33 for a Pieces of Eight silver piece.
