MAGI PAIVAINE Anodized Niobium
This was a very unusual project. Anodized Niobium, frequently used in jewelery, is not typically used in coins and only after the first of these appreared did other nations begin special collector series in this wonderful metal that changes colors when voltage is applied to niobium setting in water. These coins are MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE that the huge price tags seen on Anodized Niobium coins issued by other countries. The 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008 issues are shown. Magi Paivaine only mints coins 'as needed', so annual issues are infrequent. 100 of each were made. 12 Hobed Juya is equal to 1/2 Pennyweight in Silver. These are available in the Web Store.
